HELP! Once I finish making the selection around the eye, it doesn't select! I have a solid line instead of the dotted line and it won't let me right click and "make selection" so I can feather it. ???

you did a great job with this video, but there are a few things you left out.

whitening the eye outside of the iris really helps make the color pop as well, easily done by adding a new layer and set on a color blending mode, and filling the eye, excluding the iris, with white

also, my only real bone to pick would be that you re-created the reflection using a round white brush. make a selection from the original, or get even fancier and use a small image for better results.
