I laughed so hard when she was all like 'oh wooooow llok at that! wahhh" when looking at photoshop, it's a simple program, a 10 year old could learn to use it

"I dont think women and girls KNOW the extent to which photos are retouched...and even if they do know, i'm not sure it penetrates"

Yeah, Lady, it definitely didnt penetrate -- Great video..

If you "banned" Photoshop-retouched photos from magazines, how would you enforce this "ban"? Would all the redundant Photoshop artists be re-employed by the Magazine Police to look for edited pixels? Heh. I reckon anyone who thinks it's such a big deal should go ahead and publish a magazine with no edited photos, instead of saying dumb shit like "I think edited photos should be banned."

I'm a photographer and I us PS even on my pics. You wouldn't believe how many models don't know they should be hiring me to retouch. That shows you that some think Beyonce and others really look like that, but ignore the lipo rumors (yes she's had it done) B-4 PS, photographers were more skilled at taking a picture that made the subject look less flawed. Now we can cheat. It surprises me that ppl are so oblivious with all the cosmetic procedures and celebs without makeup pics. Not good at all.

You must be pretty thick not to have known that so many photos were retouched, or what photoshop can do. The nutritionist in the video certainly is, and horribly insulting to women to boot. We're not all as stupid as you.
Personally, I photoshop all my photos, mostly for red-eye, shine and spots. I think it's wonderful not to feel embarassed looking at a picture or have a nice memory ruined by bad lighting.

I think it is absolutely fair to retouch images...retouching does appeal to men but should inspire women. It is not the fault of a magzine publisher that women take the inspiration too far and become OBSESSED. Is it going to be a magazines fault when women become fat? I mean after all that is what they will see on the mag. covers.

ppl dont realise the effect this has on relationships! Seriously, the perfect image, retouchin, sexiness is aimed @ men wile the ladies think that u CAN actualy b like that. the men look elsewher when in a relationship, whetha its magazines, porn, etc. cuz in there teeny tiny minds the woman CAN actualy b perfect in every way, the way they r in magazines. its unfair on a woman cuz they can do everythin posible 2b 'perfct' but they r neva lyk the women in magazines. women r so much unda strain!

In fairness, it's also targeted hugely towards the male audience....alot of men, sadly have no idea who they are actually attracted to anymore, because its all trimmed, airbrushed and completely distorted...think of their girlfriends and spouses. They are not all insecure ravenous 14 yr olds.
