I want to buy photoshop elements 7 but I need to know does it require a powerful pc to run it? & also is it any good for designing flyers/posters? cheers.

YOu have to hover the mouse over the dividing line between the two layers, hold in the alt key and a small two-circle icon will appear to replace the finger. That will clip the two together

Gret tutorial! I just got elements and am following right along. One question though, How does the brush utility know that its supposed to brush in a blur (vice a black or white paint or something) when switching to the brush?

What's difference between the version 6 and 7 of the Photoshop Elements? The Adobe site does not give a comparative list features between 6 and 7, and I cannot find it anywhere else either.

One major difference is that PhotoShop Elements 7 doesn't edit colors in 16-bit.

photoshop cs is for more professional jobs... elements does almost the same things but its more for photos and everyday users (thus it is a LOT cheaper).
