GPS probably wouldn't work in space. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but all the satellite signals are pointed at the ground so you wouldn't get a signal and even if you did it would probably come up with some strange results.

one thing i really like about the i-phone is the visual voicemail. i have a g1 and you cant do that. anyone know anything about this ?

That requires a change in the network and the phone alone can't do it. But you can use grandcentral and get close to what you are looking for.

android has visual voicemail, download the app "Pf voicemail" sign up for free and it works flawlessly, never miss a beat
